Licensed Assistant, Client Service Associate

Shannon supports clients in completing account transactions such as trading as well as making deposits, contributions, withdrawals and transfers. Shannon is the resident technician for our financial planning tools, and supports the team in implementing these retirement income strategies. As part of the ShortFinancial team, Shannon wears many hats including office management and community outreach.

Shannon’s years of industry experience and expertise in her field have made her an invaluable member of the ShortFinancial team. Shannon has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Shannon is a Branch Administrator and Licensed Assistant, and is committed to enhancing her skills through industry-related courses.

Shannon is the proud mother of two beautiful children, Olivia and Blake. An active volunteer, Shannon was named ‘Volunteer of the Year’ in her community of Flatrock. She enjoys spending her time with family and friends, traveling, attending her son’s hockey games, hanging out with her daughter, reading and taking the family dog, Nova, for walks.
