Administrative Assistant

Lori joined ShortFinancial in the fall of 2021. As our team’s Administrative Assistant, she offers highly valued experience in tech support as well as wealth management. With her technical analytical background, Lori supports the ShortFinancial partners by analyzing stocks and client models, and running tests to challenge and refine strategies. Our clients may also engage with Lori as she assists the team with preparing files and organizing information for client meetings.

Lori is a graduate of the College of the North Atlantic where she honed her skills in software development. Her previous experience crosses many industries, but at the core is technology that spans from analytical to creative. She enjoys data analysis, working with numbers and all things spreadsheets, helping her team make confident, calculated decisions.

In her spare time, Lori can be found camping or kayaking on ponds and lakes on the beautiful West Coast of Newfoundland or on the Humber River. Lori is also an avid reader and knitter, crafting her favourite pieces like lace shawls and Christmas stockings.
