Curtis Porter is a partner at ShortFinancial and has a passion for working with clients to help them achieve their financial and life goals and needs. His guidance and consultation leads clients to create impactful financial and retirement plans while enhancing their personal financial literacy. 

Curtis has over 21 years of experience in the financial industry. Curtis is a Portfolio Manager, a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) and is a Licensed Insurance Advisor. Curtis is one of three Partners at ShortFinancial and is committed to building long standing relationships with his clients.

Curtis was born and raised in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Co-op) with a Major in Finance as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Outside of the office, Curtis is an avid outdoorsman who can be found hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife, Vicki, and son, Blake. Curtis is also committed to his community and is currently a volunteer Scouts Leader with Scouts Canada.
