Brandon Rideout

Licensed Assistant, Client Services Associate

As a graduate of the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law (Juris Doctor), Brandon has experience in corporate, tax, and wills and estates law. Leveraging this experience, his day-to-day duties now include client servicing, investment research and estate planning. Brandon assists in preparing comprehensive meeting packages, account management, investment research and technical analysis and estate planning services. Brandon also holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology.

Using his legal and engineering background to best support colleagues and clients of ShortFinancial, Brandon is a dedicated problem solver and offers a strong technical foundation and client-focused approach. He is licensed through the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) and Retail Securities Exam (RSE) and is currently working towards the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional (CFP®) designation.

Brandon prides himself on his ability to mentor youth within the community and is a former basketball coach. When he is not at the office, Brandon can be found on the golf course or spending time with his friends, family or German Shepherd, Ozzy.
