Licensed Assistant, Client Service Associate

Alex excels in client service, supporting ShortFinancial partners as well as the individuals and families they work with. Her day-to-day role involves processing transactions, monitoring transfers and retirement payments, and managing the movement of other funds. Alex recently completed the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam Course (CIRE) and is currently working towards the completion of her Retail Securities Exam (RSE).

Alex has over five years of customer service experience working in the St John’s Tourism Industry. Alex joined the team at ShortFinancial at the start of 2020 and brought with her a love of working with clients and making a difference in their day. Alex graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Commerce (Co-op) and a Bachelor of Arts in Classics (Ancient Greek and Roman History and Society).

In her downtime, Alex enjoys reading historical fiction and fantasy novels, crocheting and playing soccer.
